What dreaming about zombies means

The zombie started in Haitian folklore as the zonbi, a dead person raised by a sorcerer and made to work without a will of their own. Many historians link the figure to the memory of plantation slavery. The modern version, slow and hungry and endless, came from cinema, beginning with a low-budget horror film in the late 1960s. Your dream probably draws on both halves, the person with nobody home and the crowd that never stops.

Jung called the mask you wear to get through the day, the role you play at work or in public, the persona.[4] A zombie fits it uncomfortably well, since the clothes, the walk and the routine are all still there and nobody is home.
